Hello world from the inaugural Rising Minds blog post! We are so excited to get this up and running so that we can keep you up to date on all of the wonderful work we’re doing and connections we’re making. First things first, we’ve undergone a major digital facelift. Yep, that’s right- Rising Minds has a brand new website, complete with awesome new videos and infographics. The iMedia graduate students from Elon University in North Carolina joined us for a week in January to gather content, take videos and photos, and get to know our organization and everyone involved. While back in the States, they spent the rest of the month putting together our new visual identity and interactive website. It goes live on January 27th, so be prepared world.
Our hope is to drive more awareness and action through our website, amped up social media, and blog. We are constantly striving to make our programs for the people of Guatemala even more accessible and beneficial, as well as aiming to bring in more volunteers and participants. We will be using this blog to share our goals and successes, let you know more about our various program partners, and be a constant source of news about what is going in the Atitlan region. We love to share our passion with others so please feel free to comment and ask questions on our posts.
