Rising Minds looks for passionate and dedicated people to become part of our family and team. We promote cultural awareness and hand-ups, rather than handouts. We have several open openings, including internships and director positions. International Internship

Rising Minds International Internship program integrates the passions, skills and interests of individuals to help develop programs and strengthen our mission. International Interns take on leadership roles helping to support programs aimed to increase educational opportunities, community involvement, and sustainable development within the communities with which we work. Remote Internship

You don’t have to be in Guatemala to make a global impact. Rising Minds has interns working to support our mission on various levels through our customized internship program. The research and outreach of our interns is pivotal to the growth and development of our organization. Each internship is tailored to the interests and available time commitment of the individual. Not only do internships support the work and mission of Rising Minds, but they are also just one more way of showing that everyone has something to offer in making the world a better place. In-school Health Campaign Director

The goal of the program is that once a week our community health educators and volunteers provide hands-on, interactive lessons based on nutrition and illness prevention to upwards of 150 children between the ages of 2-14. Complimenting these trainings Rising Minds will be planting and maintaining school gardens where students can learn not only about nutrition but also sustainable gardening techniques such as saving seeds and constructing and caring for a worm compost.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the developmental and organizational-side of the program. Education and Community Enrichment Program Director

The Education and Community Enrichment Director is responsible for managing the programmatic activities and strategic direction of The Education and Community Enrichment Program, including recruitment and management of volunteers and staff, development of all program material, fundraising and the strategic expansion and development of program sites. Educational Garden and Seed Bank Program Director

The Rising Minds Education Gardens Program Director is responsible for managing the programmatic activities, strategic direction, development and maintenance of the RM Educational garden, seed bank and related program initiatives, including family, community and school gardens. Internship: Marketing and Communications Coordinator

The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities and effectively coordinating the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of marketing materials alongside with Rising Minds Leadership. Internship: Cultural Immersion Coordinator 

Rising Minds’ cultural immersion programs help better distribute the tourist dollar and provide empowering employment opportunities for our workshop providers.  Additionally, the program aims to help preserve local traditions whilst raising funds for programs that benefit the communities in which they are provided.

Internship: Graphic Design and Web Developer
